Donald MONEY Obituary
Age 84 of Vandalia, Ohio, passed away Friday, December 25, 2020, at his home. He was born October 22, 1936, in
Dayton, Ohio. He graduated from Roosevelt High School class of 1954. Don served proudly in the U.S. Navy. He
retired from Ohio Bell / AT&T in 1995 with 40 years of
service. Don led a full and exciting life. He loved his family and being with his many friends. He loved every child he laid his eyes on and he
especially enjoyed his time at his place on Cumberland Lake. Survived by his wife, Joan Money; son, Shane Money; sister, Pam (Tom) Tripp; brother-in-law (JR) Herman Monnin; sisters-in-law, Rose, Patricia, Laura Monnin, and Sue Money; bonus son, Jeffrey Parks Jr.; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Don was preceded in death by his son, Randall Lee Money;
parents, Leonard and Norma Money; brothers, Ronald and
Kevin Money; father and mother-in-law Herman and Thelma Monnin; brothers-in-law, Norman, Anthony, and Charles Monnin; and sisters-in-law, Norma Rock and Mary Ann Monnin. Thanks to Crossroads Hospice for their care also to the family for their support, the neighbors who looked out for Don and the friends who kept in touch during his long goodbye. Given the current pandemic, no service is planned at this time. Please remember Don with fond memories and a smile. He will be sadly missed. I will remember Don as a very good friend and coworker through the years. We lost touch, but I thought of him often. I missed him and will now always miss him.
