Charles E. "John"

Charles E. "John" Ellington, Jr., 82 of Gratis Township, Preble County, Ohio, and formerly of Trenton, Ohio, died Thursday, December 31, 2020, in Cincinnati, Ohio. Born on December 15, 1938, in Perry County, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Charles E. Sr. & Josephine (Draughn) Ellington.

John was a self-employed Fuel Distributor for Sohio and BP Oil, having served the Butler County area for 35 years. He retired in 2000.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister: Hattie Carolyn Woodrey in 2005.

Survived by Wife of 64 years: Judy E. (Fall) Ellington; Sons: Dennis L. (Michele) Ellington and Michael C. (Kathy) Ellington; Sisters: Doris Jean Farmer and Rita Ann Day; Grandchildren: Bradley (Heather) Ellington, Riley and Kayla Ellington; Great-Grandson: Mason Ellington; many nieces and nephews.

Private Funeral Service will be held at convenience of the family with Entombment in Woodside Cemetery & Arboretum in Middletown, Ohio. Arrangements Entrusted to Barnes Funeral Home, Eaton, Ohio.
