Kathy MARTIN Obituary
69, of Springfield passed away on Friday, January 1, 2021, after a long battle with diabetes but was not COVID related. She was born October 10, 1951, in Springfield, the daughter of the late Dick and Amanda Cook. Kathy worked as a hairdresser for many years at many different locations, retiring from Razor's Edge. She is survived by her husband of 26 years Don Martin; sisters Valerie Reed, Darcie (Terry) Kirker, Laurie Whitt and Karla (Richard) Gunther; nephews Rick (Erin) Reed, Brian (Terri) Connolly, Brandon Whitt and Brenton (Marie) Hart; nieces Tracey Reed (Ian) Thompson, Courtney (Beau) Links and Kori (Paden) Frank; numerous great-nieces and nephews. A gathering of family and friends will be held Wednesday, January 6, 2021, from 5-7pm at Richards, Raff & Dunbar Memorial Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Barely Used Pets, 844 Jackson Hill Road, Urbana, OH, 43078. Don and all the Cook girls and family. I'm so sorry th o hear about the loss of Kathy. I have many fond memories of you girls. But will always remember Kathy talking Dwight into letting her cut his head full of hair. She spoiled him so and he refused to let anybody else cut his hair. We share lots of laughs. Love and prayers to all of you.
