ROWE (Shuttleworth), Joanne

Joanne (Shuttleworth) Rowe passed away peacefully on

December 30, 2020. She was born in Springfield on May 28, 1935, the adopted daughter of John and Alice Hinton. Joanne (or "Tootie" to her mom and dad) worked at her daddy's Toot-Z-Q Sandwich Shop while in high school. After graduating Springfield High School, she worked at her family's Tim-Dan-Ee Pizza from the late 1950s to mid-80s, and later was a receptionist at Brucker, Berry and Pappas until the early 2000s. Joanne's lifetime joy was her husband, children, grand-and-great-grandchildren, and she treasured her home, friends, and beloved pets.

Joanne was preceded in death by parents John and Alice Hinton; brother Jerry Shuttleworth; and husband and love of her life, Charles Dearl Rowe. She is survived by three sons, Tim, Danny (Kim) and Bill (Dorothy); her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, half-sisters, and half-brother. At her

request, remains were donated to Boonshoft School of Medicine; there is no funeral or visitation. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Animal Welfare League of Clark County.
