Ruth’s former husband Jeff and my father grew up together in New Moorefield and later were partners in building homes. I remember as a small boy visiting them with my dad when they lived on Villa Road. Many years later when she worked at Derr Road Inn we saw each other again after many years. She was still a beautiful and warm woman as I had remembered her to be. She would bring a tray of appetizers out to us boys to sample when we always stopped in there on Friday after work. The first time that happened after many years we were both so excited to see each other we sat and talked for awhile to catch up about our families. She was so pretty and I will never forget her beautiful smile. God Bless you Ruth. RIP.

Please accept our sincere sympathy. I remember Ruth as a sweet and loving lady. I admired her ability to be such a wonderful mother to five little boys! She was a very busy wife and mother. I have fond memories of the Rambys as our neighbors. May she rest in peace.
