Mildred LECOCQ Obituary
Mildred Ann Lecocq, 83, of Springfield, passed away on January 5, 2021, in her home. She was born on December 11, 1937, in Springfield, the daughter of Maurice and Audrey (Shonkwiler) Silvers. Mildred loved to bake, and travel and she enjoyed playing games and cards. Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Frank Allen of Springfield; two grandsons, Justin Thomason and Zachary (Abby) Thomason; three great-grandchildren, Jessie Thomason, Zoey Thomason, and Zachary Thomason; sister, Joyce Allen of Columbus; brother, David (Kathy) Silvers of Springfield; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by siblings, Russell Silvers, Virginia Carter, Millard "Pete" Silvers, Paul Silvers,
Doris Allman, Roger Silvers, Donald Silvers, Norma Ferryman, Joanne Stoops, and Jerry Silvers; and by her parents.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Monday in the JONES-
KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME, with Chaplain Janie Brewer officiating. Friends may visit with the family from
10-11 am. Face masks are required. Burial will follow in
Vernon Asbury Cemetery. Condolences may be shared at
