Charles David "Chuck"
Charles David Brandenburg "Chuck", 55, of Springfield, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, January 8th, 2021. He was born January 25, 1965, in Springfield, Ohio, the son of James Brandenburg
and Charlene (Smith) Aper.
Chuck worked for Westfield (Remington) Steel for 25 years. He loved racing and was an avid UK Basketball & Patriots Football fan. Chuck was a loving dad and papaw and will be greatly missed. Chuck is survived by his lifelong partner of 31 years, Treva Hooten; his children: Ashley (Dustin) Herring and James Brandenburg; grandchildren: Kyle, Jaxson and Brady Herring; his mother, Charlene Aper; a very special uncle, Davey (Karen) Brandenburg; siblings: Beth (Steve) Anon, James (Jenny) Brandenburg and Kelli Brandenburg and many nieces, nephews and friends. He is preceded in death by his father, James Brandenburg; two siblings: Cheryl Fent and Amy Morris. A celebration of Chuck's life will be on Thursday, January 14, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. at
LITTLETON & RUE Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until the time of service on Thursday. Burial will follow at Ferncliff Cemetery. Live streaming of the service will begin at 1:00 p.m on the Littleton & Rue Facebook page. Memorial gifts may be made to Vitas Hospice, 3055 Kettering Blvd., Dayton, 45439.
