LaVerne SHANNON Obituary

SHANNON, LaVerne

95, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 10th 2021, at the Bickford. Raised in Liberty Twp., OH, then recently lived on a family farm in Irwin, OH. Leaving

behind her children: sons, Gary (Diane) Shannon, Steve (Kim) Shannon, both of Irwin, OH, and her daughter, Elaine

(Michael) Kuth of Monroe, OH; seven grandchildren and

eleven great-grandchildren; and also two brothers Kenneth Stewart and Roger (Lila) Stewart, both of Irwin, OH. Preceding her in death were her husband Jack Shannon; her parents

Russell and Stella Stewart; sister-in-law and brother-in-law Joyce and Jack Bowers; and mother-in-law Elizabeth Shannon. Due to COVID guidelines, Hodapp Funeral Home is providing a private family graveside service. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Rev Joel Harbarger will be doing the service and many thanks to DayCity Hospice for their caregiving. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Milford Center United Methodist Church, 55 E State St, Milford Center, OH 43045.
