Jewel BENNETT Obituary
Jewel E. Bennett, age 76 of Medway, passed away Monday, January 11, 2021, at Miami
Valley Hospital. She was born in Salyersville, Kentucky, on
August 25, 1944, the daughter of Dorsey & Ollie Mae (Ramsey) Jenkins. She was a member of the American Legion in New Carlisle, the Medway Baptist Church and the Old-Fashioned Rod & Gun Club in Medway.
She is survived by her son Terry (Kim) Bennett, 2 daughters Roxanne (Scott) Gibson and Patricia (Mike) Smith, 7 grandkids Brett (Heather) Smith, Ashliey (Ben) Randall, T.J. (Alyse)
Bennett, Courtney (Tom) Czeczernecki, Brittany (Ryan) Selvidge, Hunter (Stephanie Baker) Gibson, and Brooklyn Smith, 10 great-grandchildren Ranger, Lee, Remington "R.J.", Josh, Corbin, River, Emmylou, Bronson, Mabel and Christian; a very special "son" Rick Stoner, brother Will Jenkins; sisters Bonnie Nickell, Loretta Jenkins and Ivy Jenkins; best friends the Giles family, the Stockman family, the Elams family and Uncle Bo; several nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband of 48 years Johnny Bennett, and brothers Troy, Delbert and Dick Jenkins.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday, January 15, 2021, from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm at the ZERKLE
FUNERAL HOME, 11900 N. Dixie Dr., Tipp City. A funeral
service will be held on Friday at 1:00 pm at the funeral home with Pastors Karl Chadwick and Kenny Abrams officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Gardens, Tipp City. Memorial contributions may be made in Jewel's memory to Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave., Dayton, Ohio 45420. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.zerklefh.com.
