To Rita and the family of Steve, I want to send my sincere condolences. I’m very sorry I could not be there for you at his services today. I was privileged to serve with Steve on City Council and truly appreciated his contributions to Monroe. May he be at peace. God bless.

Steve lived around the corner from me, and we went to high school together. Our mom’s were also friends. I remember how much he loved football. Prayers for Rita and their family.
