Warren MORGAN Obituary

MORGAN, Jr.,

Warren Lee

Warren Lee Morgan, Jr., (93) passed away quietly on Saturday, February 6, 2021. Lee was born December 31, 1927, in St. Louis, Missouri. He was predeceased in 2013 by his beloved and much missed wife of 63 years, Ann Casey Morgan. Lee was a 1950 graduate of the Naval Academy; joined the Air Force after graduation; served in the Korean War, and spent the majority of his civilian career as an engineer with the Foreign Technology Division at Wright Patterson Air Force Base where he specialized in foreign aircraft development. He concluded his working years with a ten-year stint with PRC doing computer modeling. His retirement gambit was Senior Softball, which he played for 18 years on three different teams. He loved all sports (particularly, the Browns and Reds). He was an avid reader, music lover, and a regular for breakfast with friends at Bunnies. He never turned down a cookie or a request for help. He is survived by his four daughters: Chris (Don) Gardiner, Peggy Morgan, Laura (Richard Johnson) Morgan, and Beth (Mark) Hamelberg; eight grandchildren: Casey Gardiner, Matt (Emily) Gardiner, Maggie (Kevin) Hoy; Anna (Kris Collins) Johnson, Amelia (Miguel Acuna) Johnson, Isaac (Jeanine Pollard) Johnson, Morgan (Joshua Reedy) Hamelberg, and Patrick Hamelberg; seven great-grandchildren: Courtney, Catherine, and Henry (Matt and Emily) Gardiner; Callie and Jordan (Maggie and Kevin) Hoy; Cassidy (Anna Johnson and Kris) Collins, and Ramona (Amelia Johnson and Miguel) Acuna. In these pandemic times, no memorial service will be held. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to your local food bank. Condolences can be expressed to the family at www.tobiasfuneralhome.com.
