Grandpa I remember going to your house almost every year on our birthday that one thing we clicked on bc we shared the same birthday I remember one year for ur 99 party I went on out birthday and I was jealous bc it was my birthday too nn nobody knew but now I realized it´s bc you were such a great man nn uu still are even though uu not here physically ur still here spiritually nn you changed sooooo many peoples life with ur humbleness and kindness you were such a hard worked and never let anybody get you down .I just wanna say I love you so much .#youlishrhodesway

Gramps you will truly be missed by us all!
You are the BEST/all around GOOD MAN that I've ever met in my life, inside and outside of the church, all day everyday!!
You practiced what you preached and you Loved your Family and we surely Love you too!

Deacon Rhodes was a staple of the Springfield community and the church Restored Life (St Luke). I will always remember his resounding voice during services......every time he saw me he’d ask me to sing for him. I love you Deacon, Rest peacefully I will see you in the morning♥
