I offer my condolences to the Fushimi family. Fred
was a colleague of mine at Mound Lab for a number of years. He was a very capable scientist that showed in many aspects of his involvement
in a number of DOE programs. I enjoyed the many times we played golf, although our scores didn't reflect that. He was an excellent athlete and
was a good friend.
May Fred rest in peace.

I will forever remember him. He was supportive and providing encouragement on and off the slopes. He will be missed!
