49, of Springfield, passed away September 9, 2021, following several years of failing health. She was born June 10, 1972, in Wayne, Michigan. Penny had a special love for her caring dog Rowdy. Survivors include her parents, Deborah and Dennis Taylor; a sister, Alicia (Greg) Reichert and nieces, Jenna
Newman, Haley Coop and
Abby Reichert. She was preceded in death by a brother, Ron Coop. Memorial services will be held at a later date. Arrangements are being handled by the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME. Condolences may be shared at

Just the other day Penny popped into my head. I miss her so much. I was the only friend that I had in Springfield.
I remember one time when I had came to visit her. I had told her if she would go to the store I would buy us a soda and chips. She had said and drive that green car? I said yes. She didn´t like my green car. But I gave her the keys and money and she went to the store . When she got back she said OMG!!!! That´s my favorite car. Why didn´t you tell me? She was all smiles and happy. I said oh I forgot. I didn´t have the green car. I had a silver drop top mustang. I didn´t forget. I just wanted her to be surprised. And she was. She couldn´t stop talking about how she was glad I didn´t have the green car anymore. I miss her more and more. She used to call me her daughter in law.
