Russell ALGREN Obituary

ALGREN II, Russell "Ted"

Russell "Ted" Algren, II, 87, of New Carlisle, passed away Tuesday, November 9, 2021. He was born November 24, 1933, in Medway, the son of the late Russell and Kathryn Algren. Ted worked for Shook Construction for 20 years and then went on to own and operate Ted Algren Excavating for 40 years. He was a member of the Local 18 Operating Engineers Union. Ted is survived by his wife of 47 years Kathleen Algren; children Becky (Don) Jones, Steven (Tammy) Algren, Angela (Jack) Cunningham, Linda Webber, Sharon (Joe) Carty, and Chuck (Kim) Webber; brothers Talmadge (Martha) Algren, Terry (Melva) Algren, Tru Algren, and John (Chris) Algren; 23 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; sons Timothy Algren and Russell Algren III; brother Thomas Algren; and

sister-in-law Karen Algren. The family would like to express their gratitude to Ohio Living Hospice for their wonderful care. Visitation will be held Monday, November 15, 2021, from 4-7 pm at Trostel, Chapman, Dunbar & Fraley Funeral Home. The funeral to honor Ted will be Tuesday, November 16, 2021, at 11:00 am at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Glen
