I knew Ron way back in the 1970's when he owned a very nice black 1957 FORD! He lived a couple streets down from where I grew up. He was always around we talked cars! Ron had a really great sense of humor. A really nice guy.
The last time I saw Ron was in the 1980's when I worked at the old Miamisburg Kroger store in the produce dept. He came in one night and was with a younger boy who I assumed was his son. We caught up on where we'd both been over the years and went over stories of the past. He was a great guy to talk with! That was the last time I saw him.
I was surprised to read he had passed and was saddened to hear of this. It was good to hear that he had a pleasant life and great family! My sympathies go out to his family and friends!
