I started my plumbing apprenticeship in the late 60s. I worked with Ray , and his BIL Ralph, many times over the years, we always enjoyed working together, except the time when I hit him in the head with a sledge hammer, even then he wasn`t mad. I`m sure he will be missed, I`m sorry for your loss.

We live across the street from Raymond and Geri. Our son, Levi, was friends with Raymond. He is 12 now and misses when Raymond was out and about. He would always bring over food to our kids. Sometimes it would be opened cereal that they couldn't finish or didn't like. He was always caring and concerned about our children. He would tell me to make sure my husband unhooked the water hose in the winter. Sometimes if we left our trashcans out too long he was sure to make sure we took care of them lol! He took great care of his well manicured yard and was proud of the neighborhood and wanted the appearance to be kept up. Brian, I remember seeing him up on the roof many, many times. You couldn't hold him down. What a sweet man who will be missed for sure. Condolences to the entire family. Raymond was great and I barely knew him

The Ray I knew..... In his early 80's Ray would wait for everyone to leave the house so he could get the ladder out, climb up on the roof and clean out the gutters. When asked why, he promptly responded "Well they yell at me for doing it if they are here, so I just wait for them to leave". We had a mid summer pee sized hail storm one year, covered the ground. Hail turned to pouring rain and there was Ray shoving off the driveway in the downpour. It was critical we got the snow blower's oil changed, gassed up and running in October one year. No matter how short you trim the bushes you need to cut them "way back" a little more. I could go on...
I'm going to whole heartedly miss the stories, the laughs, the company, the wave from the porch and the man he was. My absolute condolences to all of his family, love you guys.

Joanne, although I did not know your Dad but you talked of your parents often as you were the main caretaker and for that you should be proud and blessed! I know things seem hard right now but they will get better and the memories will keep you solid as your faith in God will increase and know that we all live to die and die to live for this world is temporary and we all must choose our path. Again, please accept sincere condolences from myself and Bea and may He Bless and Keep you during this time of sorrow.
Always,
Wil

Our sincere condolences to Aunt Gerry and her and Uncle Ramond's beautiful extended family. You are in our thoughts and prayers! When I think of Uncle Raymond, I think of a celebration of his joyful life! When our family came out to Ohio in the summers, I remember his fun-loving spirit, with a sprinkle of mischievousness, and his awesome story telling ability. He would have us with tears rolling down our cheeks. He loved the kids and was always happy when they were around! He was a hard, industrious worker always ready and willing to help others who needed it. I envision him occasionally fishing on the ponds at the course while my dad plays golf. They are looking down from above together with our other loved ones.
God bless you Uncle Raymond...you are now at peace in His hands.

We are lifting you all up in prayer. Asking God to comfort, strengthen, and heal you all. So sorry for the loss but know he is up there in Heaven with my Grandfathers reminiscing. I loved to hear his stories of their hunting and fishing days. Hugs to all of you!!
