I am so saddened to hear of John´s passing. We lived on the same dorm floor during my Freshman year at IU, and remained friends throughout college. He would frequently visit and stay with me in NYC when he was in business trips in the late 80´s and early 90´s. A great guy! My sincere condolences to his loved ones.
