Charles Ray "Chuck" Sanders, age 92, of Urbana, died Monday, April 25, 2022, at The Bluebird Retirement Community in Marysville. 1947 graduate of Urbana High School; former
associate Urbana Implement Company; veteran US Air Force; former owner International Harvester dealership Sanders Sales and Service in Urbana; survived by wife, Beatrice Louise Castle Sanders; daughter, Kimberly (Phillip) Schaeffer; and others. Visitation 12-2 p.m., Monday, May 2, 2022, at First Baptist Church of Urbana, with Celebration of Life service 2 p.m.

Remembering Charlie´s special friendship with my Dad, Ron Perry. In our last phone visit, he encouraged him to keep on with the daily journaling strategy, so helpful to him!
May you be comforted with the Love of Jesus, Immanuel God With Us, who has gone ahead and prepared a place for His believers! What a wonderful reunion these men must be enjoying in the presence Our Savior!!!
My Dad died last Sept and we miss him too-especially my Mom, every day!

Dear Beatrice and precious family,
I only just read about the death of your dear husband/Dad/Grandpa, as I´ve posted the obituary of my Dad, Ron Perry, in the Urbana Citizen, yesterday 9/28 which would have been his 94th Birthday.
It´s a true delight to read of Chucks life, his dedication to Family and our Lord God who made it all possible. I remember my last visit with Chuck, taking careful notes so my Dad could re-read and "remember"back in 2020. I regret not calling him again, but Ron had lost the ability to speak his mind. They are healthy, whole and in good fellowship NOW in the presence of our Savior and Heavenly Father, with all that have gone before them to that Heavenly home. With love, Jill Perry-Montie
