Our sympathies to you, James and family. First met Maxine at the Dayton Catholic Women´s Club. Maxine was President of the DCWC 2007-2009. Very supportive of the DCWC events. Maxine was beautiful inside and out. May your memories of Maxine continue to bring you comfort and healing. In our thoughts and prayers.

Just wanted to extend my deepest sympathy to the family of Maxine Brooks. My wife Ann Szabo loved Maxine and would often talk of her kindness when our boys attended Corpus Christi. She was a great lady.

What a cool lady. I did not know Mrs. Brooks very well but I do know her son Jimmy who is one of the most solid guys I know. One does not just end up that way without a loving and selfless mother. She was that in spades. Peace.
oon't just end up that way without a loving Mother
