ROBERT CHASTEEN Obituary
Robert Dale Chasteen, age 70 of Hamilton, Ohio, passed away at his home on Wednesday, November 23rd, 2022. He was born in Hamilton on June 7th, 1952. The son of the late William and Bertha Chasteen He was employed at Champion International where he met the love of his life Susan. In 1980, they were married and was a farmer, which he enjoyed. He was a member of the Trenton Moose Lodge 330 and the VFW of Camden. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Susan, daughter, Dawn and her fiancée, Arnie Sullivan, his son, Billy Chasteen, his grandsons, Kolin Chasteen and Austin Winkler and his granddaughter, Autumn Charles all of Trenton Ohio. His brothers, Rusty Chasteen and Reuben Chasteen. He was preceded in death by his special granddaughter, Sophia VanOstrand, his parents and his sister, Janet Sue Blevins. A celebration of life will be held at the convenience of the family. Condolences may be left at browndawsonflick.com.

Oh how the memories of Christmas eve will always be cherished with my uncle Dale and dad hiding in the basement of our house while everyone is wondering where they are. Or how my fav not so recent but passing memory of how my moms dog got its name.."whiskey" with the help of uncle Dale and a little help of sipping some whiskey with the seller. Just to name a couple. Of course my kids birthdays and him just always giving me the greatest hugs when we saw each other. You are and will always be missed. Fly high with Sophia tell Jennifer I said hello and enjoy the freedom of the pain you been lifted from, Uncle Dale. We love you.

I have nothing but fond memories of all of the family events. The Christmas parties, Halloween parties, bon fires behind the pole barn, trips to the Jack Daniel's Distillery and last week we got to spend 2 days with Dale and Sue because they were always letting us use their farm to park our motorhome alongside the barn. I will always remember you Robert Dale. Godspeed.
