I worked with Mr. Ward at school for a number of years and we became good friends. A very positive person and funny as well. We always had his back taking care of his various vehicles. RIP. You will be missed.

We went to Corinthian Baptist with Bro Ward..loved to sing..I was moved spiritually with any song he sung but especially "walk with me Lord". He was always smiling and I knew he loved the Lord. Rest in Jesus arms bro Ward.

Mr. Ward (or, as I called him, "Wart") was a real friend to me. I enjoyed him in this life, and I will always cherish his memory until we can talk again.

Uncle "TULU" was my Pappy's (Willie Glenn Thornton's) best friend! I met him when I was a child back in the early 70's and he was the nicest uncle that I had the pleasure of knowing! He spoke at my pappy's funeral back in2000. You will be truly missed by many!!! I love you!! Sending my prayers and condolence to the family and friends.
