I met Ron a number of years ago at Hamvention. He was always calm and helpful even though his Hamvention roles, especially as Vice Chair and Chair, could be stressful. He will be greatly missed, as he was such a kind and good person.

Dearest Liz,
My heart pours out for you dear friend. As I wept, you said "there is nothing to say", but there was, I simply could have told you that you are loved. Be strong, you are!

Ron and Liz are wonderful volunteers with many organizations. I got to know Ron at Carillon Park when he started helping us with set up before festivals and large outdoor events. As Volunteer Coordinator I needed strong individuals who cld set up tables, chairs and pop up tents. Ron was tall and strong and extremely helpful. Liz has been a volunteer for us for many years in various capacities. You can find her in our Gem City print shop every Tuesday. We send our condolences to the Cramer family.

I met Ron when I became a volunteer at Hamvention. My husband Henry & I attended a Ham Radio convention in Friedrichshafen, Germany in 2015 with him & several others. Ron was one of my favorite Hamvention chairmen. He was kind, funny, organized & a very good man to all that knew him. I made a list once of my Top Ten Men. Ron easily "made the cut" right behind my Dad & my husband. I will miss seeing him with his gentle voice & always a smile. & his friendship RIP Ron
