Miss you Aunt Nena. Thought of how you would have loved this past season of the ladies NCAA basketball games, and would have been so proud of Dawn Staley(NC)

I send my love, thoughts and prayers to members of the Younger and Gentry families. Nena was a gentile soul who especially loved women's sports. She took great pride in her relationships with family and friends. She will be sorely missed

Aunt Nena was a wonderful person. As a girl, I enjoyed spending summer vacations with her and later we enjoyed sporting events together. We enjoyed watching Kristin, my daughter cheer at Univ. of Dayton. It meant watching lots of basketball games together, especially enjoying the lady Flyers and getting Dawn Staley's Autograph in 2006 when she coached Temple. Aunt Nena enjoyed golfing and played with the Dayton Madden golfers where our paths crossed again. I was very happy Aunt Nena and Uncle Mendel attended my induction into the Wyoming Sports Hall of Fame. I thought She might be inducted also, but during her junior year her mother grandma Annabelle was very ill so Aunt Nena had to return home after school to take care of her mom. Many times I would call Aunt Nena and she would be driving her elderly friends to church; such a giving person. Aunt Nena was also known to attend nearly every Frazier-Robinson Family Reunion. She truly loved her family. Aunt Nena will be sadly missed, but she has given us lots of Nice Memories! With Love, Joan Gentry Sledge and Paul, my husband sends his Love & Condolences & Prayers.

Rest in Heavenly peace, Aunt Nena. I am grateful for such fond memories of your visits to Cincinnati and the fun we had when we'd visit with you, Uncle Lynn, Lynn Jr., Annena, and Sidney. The times you came down to watch us or our own kids in sports will never be forgotten. A kind soul with a huge heart has joined an elite group in Heaven.
