I went up to Chiver's today, Sunday. I now realize his memorial was yesterday. I remember Chip in so many ways. He was a real person! A wonderful person. I apologize for the mess up. I had a hemorrhage in my brain and was recently released from Dartmouth Hitchcock, so I'm a little ditzy. Please accept my prayers.
God bless his memory.

Very sad to hear he has passed. We had not seen Chip or his family in 15 years. Bart only learned that he died three months later via an email today the day before Thanksgiving. We would have made every attempt to attend a memorial service if we had known about it. Bart Hoskins had known Chip since they were three years old. Liz Bradt

This is a tough one. Chip and I were middle children in close families. We each endured some difficult circumstances but we all thrived! My love goes out to Diana, Scott and families and of course to Susie, Hannah and Alex . He was a unique person who embodied wonderful qualities from both of his parents. I know he can rest in peace now. He will not be forgotten. The photograph chosen is just wonderful.

Chip was a dear friend from my days at VA. He was bright, inquisitive, eloquent, and gregarious, someone who was just fun to be with no matter what we were doing. I only got to see him a few times after I left VA, but I value those memories.
One very fond memory was a time Chip looked at his hand and flexed it a few times, just marveling at the wonder of it. While I looked at it as God's incredible design and he looked at it as a marvel of evolution, we shared that moment just relishing the wonder of the human body. There are too few minds that see the beauty in such things, and Chip's will be sorely missed.

Sorry to hear this news, spent some time with Chip back in the day, growing up in Oxford. Peace and comfort to his family.
