Mrs.Watkins was my first teacher that I can remember. Emerson elementary school. She started my love for reading. She read Arthur gets glasses to our class then let me take a few books home so my mom could read to my siblings and I. Not sure why I have always remembered that, but she definitely made an impact on this student. What a gift she was to Springfield City School student. Rest in Heaven Mrs. Watkins
