Arlena was a remarkable woman. I met her while living in NY through her niece, Chris. She counseled me during a very difficult time in my life. Her words and council game me strength throughout my life. I am forever grateful for her encouragement that I am worth something. I can be someone and "the buck stops with me. I can change what I could not change." I still hear her voice. She will never know that her and her words...have carried me throughout my life. Our paths crossed for a brief moment this past year. What a gift God gave me to see her. She has no idea that she has been in my thoughts and deep in my heart all these years. I hope to see her beautiful and whole in Heaven. I'd love to hear her sing one more time. Condolences to you all!! She was a remarkable woman that I am honored God put in my life when I needed her.
