John loved all the bicycle tours that were near to great places to eat. He liked the Amish Land snd Lakes Tour for the all you could eat fish special on Friday night at the Howe Restaurant. And he loved dinner at Finn's in Findley at the Hancock Horizontal Ride. He always had an extra bottle of Pickle Juice in his pocket for a bicycling friend as well. He also enjoyed Bev O's Friday Club Ride because the destination was Hueston's in Arcanum. He was a fun person to bicycle with.

John was a dedicated Five Rivers MetroParks volunteer for many years serving as an MVP, MetroParks Volunteer Patroller on our agencies many bike trails. His passion for cycling and dedication to service made him an excellent MVP and our parks and trails were cleaner and safer due to his support. Thank you, John, for making Five Rivers MetroParks a part of your life. You will be remembered, and your gift of service lives on in our parks and on our bike trails today.
