Celebration of Life Honoring Pastor Curtis Phelps Jr., of Breakthrough Christian Church Atlanta will be held on Saturday, June 15, 2024, 12 PM, Woods Memorial Baptist Church, 5665 Old National Hwy., Atlanta, GA. Instate 10 AM. Interment Lincoln Cemetery. Viewing today 12-4 PM at Breakthrough Christian Church, 3078 Benjamin E. Mays Dr., SW, Atlanta, GA. The Pilgrim Baptist Church family has felt like you´re part of our family for many many years. We sheets looked forward to our fellowship together, especially our spring revival. We met Pastor Phelps and his family over 25 years ago at the little white church and we attended their church for at least 5 years or longer under his Preaching and Revival every year at Pilgrim Baptist Church. Our Deepest Condolences to Pastor Curtis Phelps Family. He will definitely be missed. A men after Gods own heart. He always had a smile. "I loved hearing Pastor Phelps sing "I Love You Jesus" he sung that song so deep with all of his heart. Be bless, love you All.

We are members of Woods Memorial Baptist Church. We met Pastor Phelps and first Lady through our Pastor Toney Mosley many many years ago. Pastor Phelps was always in a spirituality positive mood, however he definitely didn't have an attitude of
of superiority but of gratitude with pleasure of serving and saving souls. We will truly miss his Teachings and Preaching of the Gospel. Also hearing him sing made you feel the power of God's presence mentally physically and spiritually. Condolences and prayers for the family. God Specializes.

He was a wonderful man of God and a very honest, loyal and real person to his call, (Preaching the gospel). I am sure that God has great crown awaiting this soldier.
