Mr. Huckabee served as my first CO (VP62). He consistently demonstrated fairness, kindness, and effectiveness in his leadership.
May your memory be a blessing to all who you served.

Art was my PPC on board the P3C acft for VP24. We had several years together. I was his sensor one operator and had so many kinds of crazy days and nights. I would do any thing for Art. I attended the ceremony that made him the CO of VP 62. It as nice to see him attain his Skipper status. I heard he flew Delta aircraft. It hit me very hard to hear he passed at a
Young age. I am 76 yrs old and house bound cuttingly. I will miss him. G B A.

I was fortunate to have Art not only as a friend but as a co-worker in the 737 instructor cadre. We shared many good times in our group of instructors and I am blessed to be able to call him a close friend. I will surely miss you buddy!

Art was one of the most enjoyable people to fly with on the 727. Humor, wit, and a constant smile. Had some good times in SAN. GOD blessed us all with your presence, you are home now. Thoughts and prayers for your family.

Art and I would bid togethet while flying the 727. Let me just say that I have never met a nicer human being in any respect. It is with great sadness that I read of his passing.

Art gave me my final checkout on the "new" 737 a few years back, put me totally at ease and I truly enjoyed the checkride. Sorry you departed the pattern so soon, Fair Winds Shipmate.

Art was a breath of fresh air in Flight Operations at Delta. I missed him tremendously when he left. It just wasn´t as much fun coming to work without him around. He never took himself too seriously and could make you cry laughing.

Some of my fondest memories at Delta were working for you on the 737 Standards Team. You are and will always be a top notch mentor, boss, and friend. You were the first to call me to offer condolences and comfort when I lost my father...I will never forget that. God bless you and your family and forever you will have Fair Winds and Following Seas.

God Blessed us all with Art. He was truly wonderful to work with, and for. He´s left his impact on a significant number of pilots, both in the military and at Delta. Through us, he´ll continue to "fly" here. I´m sure in some way, he´ll "let us know" how we´re doing as he watches over us. May God comfort and Bless his family.

Art, One of my 1st but definitely favorite reserve Commanding Officers in P-3´s (VP). Very personable yet professional, also first boss @ Delta in 737 Standards. He was never too busy to talk with you, a true southern gentleman. I am thankful for the times when our lives overlapped. May the light always shine on you and blessings to your family. Art was my mentor in the Navy and his calm demeanor often reined me back from my on-fire personality. At Delta we worked together in the standards dept for the 737, he as my boss, and again learned much from him. For you Delta types, especially in the 737 standards department, it was Art that introduced me at my first leads meeting as "20 grit"´ my navy call sign. Thanks for letting that cat out of the bag.
Whenever we would chat on the phone it ended up becoming a series of belly laughs. One of the funniest guys I´ve ever met. And we could talk for hours.
I´ll miss you brother. God bless you and your family.
