I never met Louise, but we corresponded every Christmastime for years, as I sent her a selection of homemade cookies and she sent thanks. She was a very special client of my husband, a hairdresser she went to for years, and they kept in contact over the years. The cookies were a symbol of the enduring friendship she offered. To say she was a lovely and loveable woman would be an understatement.
