Wayne Lee Wheat, age 80, of Dayton Ohio, departed this life Tuesday, June 11 2024. Funeral service 12 pm Friday, June 21, 2024 at Phillips Temple Church, 3620 Shiloh Springs Rd, Trotwood, Ohio. Visitation 9 am- 12 pm. Family will receive friends 11 am- 12pm. Entombment Woodland Cemetery. Online condolences may be expressed at houseofwheat.com.

I am so sorry Butch Wheat is gone. I remember him as far back as him doing an internship with CJ McLin.
I remember him and Dorothy when they were young and courting. Beautiful couple.
Butch had one of the best personalities of anyone I have ever known. He was warm, friendly and very engaging. He buried my mother and I have left my body to the care of Wheat Family Home.
He and Dorothy were/are real good people. He has been absent from the scene a long time. Missed but now permanently missed, but not forgotten.
Your dad left you a great business to walk into. I hope you will pass down to your children and generations to come.
My condolences on your lost. I grieve with you. I will keep you both in prayer along with rest of family. God Bless.
