Sandy,
You are in my thoughts during this difficult time. I really enjoyed working for Rich during our time at NASIC. He and I would get into debates on many subjects just to keep the conversation lively and have always remained friends. My favorite word from Rich was "incidentally".

Sandy, I´m so very sorry to learn of Rich´s passing. He was always a true advocate for the engineering profession serving both as OSPE´s Political Action Committee chairman and, previously, as our Ethics Committee chairman. He was also very involved in our Legislative and Government Affairs Committee for many years, and he was a great leader and past president of the Dayton Society of Professional Engineers. Rich´s insight, leadership and equanimity significantly contributed to maintaining the integrity of professional engineering in Ohio. Thank you, Sandy, for sharing Rich with us for so many years. His service to the profession has made a difference for good. I will miss him; we all will. I am thinking of you too, Sandy. God bless.
