Dabe (Reed), Wanda Marie

Wanda Marie Dabe, 88, of Springfield, Ohio, passed away peacefully on December 24, 2024. Born on April 17, 1936, in Chillicothe, Ohio, she was the cherished daughter of the late Lindsey E. and Alice (Collins) Reed. Wanda was a gifted seamstress whose artistry and attention to detail brought happiness to many. Her life was enriched by spending time with her family, embracing the role of a loving aunt to her many nieces and nephews. Although she and her late husband, Buddy, did not have children of their own, they devoted themselves to sharing their love with their family. Wanda leaves behind her surviving family: her sisters, Barbara Shirey and Linda Dabe; her brothers-in-law, Gary Dabe and Darwin Dabe; and numerous nieces and nephews with whom she created so many loving memories. She was preceded in death by her sister, Jody Hagerman; her brother-in-law, John Shirey; her sister-in-law, Janifer Dabe, nephew Doug Shirey and niece Wanda Elaine Sprunger. Her family will honor her life with private services, and she will be laid to rest in Rose Hill Burial Park. Wanda will be remembered as being loving and generous to all that knew her.
