Tindall, Mary Ann

Mary Ann Tindall, 90, of South Charleston, Ohio, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, January 11, 2025 in Springfield Regional Medical Center. She was born July 24, 1934 in Portsmouth, Ohio, the daughter of George and Laura (Lookabaugh) Smith. Mrs. Tinadall was a dedicated member of the South Charleston United Methodist Church, having sung in the choir and having taught Sunday School and Vacation Bible School. She was also a member of the Greenleaf Garden Club of S. Charleston, and she enjoyed playing the piano and taking mystery trips with her husband, Fred. Survivors include nieces, Patti (Skip) Gill, Bobbie Jo (Lonnie) Barclay, Carole Jackson, Kristi (Randy) Ison, Janie Jackson (Brian), and Michelle Elliott, and many great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces, and great-great-nephews, her church family, and S. Charleston friends. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 52 years, Fredric S. Tindall on December 9, 2024; two sisters, Ruth Jackson and Delores Detoski; and her parents. Funeral services will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, January 18 in the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Ben Webster officiating. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the services in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, S. Charleston. Condolences may be shared at www.jkzfh.com.
