I learned about Bethany's passing only recently. I have many positive memories of her, her kind spirit and her sheer joy expressed in her laughter. I had a difficult time playing basketball, not having the skills the other girls did. However Bethany made sure that I was made part of the team, that no one would pick on me, that I fit in. Her generosity was a gift I shall not forget and I know she has a special star in her crown for all she gave here on earth. My heart goes out to her mom and her sister--both of whom were extra kind through out my grade school experience. How hard this must be for them both--and I send my thoughts and prayers to them both. May they find comfort knowing that her life was a gift to others, the sort of gift that goes through out our lives. May their memories of her give them comfort--and the knowledge of her kindness give them assurance of seeing her again in heaven.

Bethany was a wonderful person. I spent the forth and fifth grade with her. I did the marimba band and was a crossing guard with her; it was always a joy to see her in the mornings, to talk with her before the class or starting the crossing guard duties with her. She was my best friend when I went to school with her. She made every day that I saw her better, seeing her made me feel blissful. On days that I didn’t want to go to school, the mere thought of her smiling face somehow made it seem all right, that the day would work out well. I loved her very much, though I never had the courage to tell her. When I graduated the fifth grade, I moved to Indiana and never saw her again. I wanted to talk to her again after several years without her and decided to find her. I was shocked when the search result for her showed up as an article about her illness and an obituary. I still cannot accept that such an exceptional person is no longer with us. I will miss her more than I can even begin to comprehend right now. She touched my life and I will never forget her. I will always treasure the memories I have of her. I have the deepest sympathy to her family and I will keep them in my prayers.

I was surprised to see this a month after Bethany has passed away. Bethany was my baby cousin and also my goddaughter. She was the most beautiful and sweetest girl I have ever known. She touched everyone who knew her. I feel privileged that she was part of my family. I will always love you Bethany and I will never forget you. I miss you more than you will ever know and I can't wait until we will be together again.

Bethany was a sweet and caring person to all those she came in contact with. somebody as sweet as she will never be forgotten. She will live through all that she loved and knew. I didn't know her that well but she has and always will have a sweet and beautiful place in my heart. To all of her family and friends I will pray for you and she is listening to all of us!

Bethany was one of my dearest friends i have known her since she was in 1st grade but many didn't know that. I wish to extend my sympathy to the family, friends, and boyfriend of this wonderfull younge lady. When i think of Bethany the first thing i think of is "Memories sometimes fade but love lasts forever" what it means is if we all truly love Bethany she will never ever be forgotten.
