Margie Bunch, 82, of Lockhart, Texas, passed away on August 10, 2004, at South Austin Hospital in Austin, Texas, after a short illness. Margie was born on April 23, 1922, to Bessie and Edward Seitz in Luling, Caldwell County, Texas. She grew up in the Luling and Lockhart communities. Margie was united in marriage to Howard Lowry ``H.L.' Bunch on October 14, 1976. Margie was a beautician and owned and operated Gene's Beauty Shop on Main Street in Lockhart until her retirement. After her retirement she enjoyed spending time with her husband H.L. H.L. preceded her in death on February 26, 1999. Margie was known to go the extra mile for family and friends. She will be missed dearly by all that knew her. She never met a stranger and had numerous friends. She was a very special person. Margie was preceded in death by her husband, H.L. Bunch; sister, Jessie Lee ``Babe' Ehrlich; brother, Billy Joe Seitz; mother, father; three other sisters; and one other brother. Margie is survived by her two nieces who she raised like they were her own children, Rebecca Lee Reyes and husband, Pete of Lockhart, and Carol Jene ``CJ' Watts and husband, Calvin ``Cal' of Luling. Margie is also survived by step-daughter, Gay Culpepper and her husband Sam; step- son, Gary Bunch and his wife Lauren; step-grandchildren, Kyle, Carl and Alicia Bunch and Clay Culpepper; niece, Sherry Haddock; nephew, Ricky Seitz; great nieces, Jessica Reyes, Michelle Berger, Jessica Berger and Valerie Watts; great- nephews, Travis Haddock and Ty Watts. The following have been very special family members in her life: Lynn Bunch of Lockhart, Joe Bunch of Lockhart, Annie Lee Means and her husband J.R., Emma Vann, Gwen Ray and her husband Robert, all of Temple. Friends may call at Eeds Funeral Home in Lockhart, Texas beginning at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 12, 2004, where the family will be present from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, August 13, 2004, at Eeds Funeral Home.
