Mrs. Scroggins was my next door neighbor growing up. There are not enough kind words to express about this woman. I remember her always taking time to speak when I was outside. She gave me a baby shower for my first child born, Wesley Bills. She was always so sweet and so full of spirit. I believe she is one of God's angels sent to earth and now has been called home, she certainly has touched a lot of lives and has served the Lord well. She is a true witness for our Lord! She did not have to even speak to serve her Lord, all she had to do was put her bible in her hand, cross Frick Road to the Church in front of her house when it was time for Church. If she was not at Church, you knew there would be a prayer for her said because she was out sick.

I would want to tell her "thank you Mrs. Scroggins for your kindness and your love for my family. You have never been forgotten through the years!

May God be with all of those who are saddened by the lost of Mrs. Scroggins!!!

I really don't know what to say that would honor Mrs. Scroggins as she deserves. She was not only one of the charter members of the church; but she was also a cornerstone of Prairie Garden Baptist Church. We all have our special memories of her; she stood firm through thick and thin. We've always read cute little sayings about Peter meeting individuals at the Pearly Gates... but I truly believe that Jesus himself probably met this wonderful lady at those gates and said - "Come on in - Thy true and faithful servant". Come rain or shine, you could always count on her to walk across Frick Road to attend her church. Although I am no longer a member of this church, I will truly miss her face as I enter those doors from time to time.
