Hello,
We apologize for being so late in expressing our deepest condolences to you and your family. We want you to know that we will be sending Care Packages to deployed troops this week and several of these will be dedicated to your loved one. Each package will carry the name, photo, service branch, rank and hometown of Thomas Jason David Mileo US Marine Corporal.
We realize that this is a small tribute, but we do this with all respect and sincerity and we want you to know that it is made possible by thousands of like-minded individuals from across the American youth hockey community, their families, friends and others who support our mission.

Happy Birthday Marine! Semper Fi! Our Motorcycle Club rode in the Nashville TN Veterans Day parade. Cpl Mileo and Sgt Harley were both in my hearts and prayers. You will never be forgotten.

I had the great pleaseure of knowing CPL Mileo. I was the 7th Marines NBCD Chief during the invasion and we chewed the same ground. I served with Cpl Mileo. I was with Weapons Platoon in India Co as a Machine Gunner from May 98-June 02. Cpl Mileo which I didn't know well but I knew he was a good Marine. He will never be forgotten.

I knew Jason, I was the NCOIC of RSS Glen Burnie when Jason first joined the Marines. I remember Jason as always giving his best and being very proud to be a Marine. If this person can stand in battle to ensure my freedom, then I will stand in grief with his/her family to honor him/her. For every fallen HERO there is a bright star that shines in the evening sky to remind us of the cherished gift we were given – even if for too short a time.
My heart breaks again as I sign yet another guest book of another courageous young soldier who gave their life so selflessly. I wish I never found myself in a position to have to sign another guest book for the rest of my life, but I promised LE RON A. WILSON (a dear friend KIA 7/6/07, 18yrs old) that neither he nor any like him would be forgotten and so I will continue until the day there is no longer the need.

I never knew your son.I wish I had..I would have liked to thank him for his willingness to protect our country.
My heart goes out to you .I have a 9 year old son, he sees the men overthere and wants to grow up and be able to do what they have done for us.
I have many friends over there.To me they are real men...your son was one of them.

My name is Wayne, and Jason was a very good friend of mine in high school. I don't know if you remember, but we hung out a lot. We went to senior week together and he even visited Penn State with me. Jason was one of the few who believed I could do what I do today which is Meteorology. He visited Penn State with me and my decision not to attend the school was influenced by him. I'm now at Millersville University in Lancaster, PA thanks to him. I was very sad to hear the news, however my sorrow turned to gratefulness because he died defending the American dream and the liberties for which we all take for granted daily. I'm proud to have had Jason as a friend. He was a brave and special friend and I'll always miss him. I'm turely sorry for your loss, and my thoughts and prayers go with you all. I can recall so many times you speaking about him and you always had that love in your eyes as all mothers do when they talk about their children. He seemed like the ideal son, who also loved and always wanted to protect his mom. Maybe that's where he got his desire to want to serve and protect his nation. What an honorable and noble young man you raised. I know no words can comfort you at this time, but I pray with all my heart that God is with you and your family and that somehow you know that Jason will always be with you in your heart, your soul, and your spirt.
