Betty Brown Obituary

OREGON, Mo. - Betty J. Brown, 76, of Oregon, passed away on Sunday, Dec. 2, 2007, after a lengthy illness.
Mrs. Brown was born in Boughton, Ark., on Nov. 15, 1931. Betty had lived in Oklahoma and then moved to Oregon in 1990.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William P. and Lois (Gossett) Norman; sister, Sarah Munkirs; and infant twin sister, Billie Jo Norman.
Survivors include her children and their spouses, Judy and Dave Scroggins, Forbes, Mo.; John and Brenda Morrison, Houston, Texas; Debbie and Ray Partridge, Chapel Hill, Tenn.; Tammy and Keith Potts, Ochelata, Okla.; and James and Cindy Cox, Bartlesville, Okla.; grandchildren; and great-grandchildren.
Betty enjoyed spending time and playing pitch at the Senior Center in Mound City, Mo., and going on OATS bus trips.
A memorial service will be Friday at 11 a.m. at the Chamberlain Funeral Home in Oregon. Family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Inurnment will be at Forbes Cemetery.
Memorials may be directed to the Mound City Nutrition Site.

Uncle Dave, Aunt Judy, Chris & Donna,
Sorry to hear of your loss. Your in my thoughts and prayers. I enjoyed making sure that she got her paper everyday while I lived at the apts. and riding the OATS bus with her. From the stories she told you knew she was proud of her family. She will be truly missed.
