Patty and Clay Moore

Fern, I'll never forget the times Clayton would get tickled at Uncle Randy's stories. We had just talked about him before his passing. Knowing he is with the Lord as he's up there telling his silly stories again. God Bless you and Keep you always, Patty and Clay Moore

Fern I was so saddened to hear of Bennie's death. He fought a battle the last years of his life, but it's a battle that Satan did not win. Praise God! You stood by him through the good times as well as the bad times. I know Aunt Lula and Uncle Austin have welcomed him to their heavenly home and Aunt Lula is doing everything she can to make him feel welcome and to have a pleasant stay. I wish I could have been there to comfort you. I can assure you that God will not put more on you than you can handle. He will also be at your side to lift you up through the days ahead.

Mrs. Fern,
Mr Scroggins will be missed. I loved to here him tell his stories. May God give you grace and peace during this time.

The Final Salute
“Brothers in Arms”, Military men and women down through the centuries, have traditionally exchanged “Hand Salutes” as a sign of recognition and as a way to render courtesy and respect one to another.
This “Hand Salute” is the last that we shall render to Bennie Randell Scroggins our Brother in Arms. To his family it symbolizes the love and respect that we have for BENNIE. And to BENNIE it is rendered as a symbol of honor and gratitude to thank him for the devoted and selfless service he rendered to his country during the Quemoy-Matsu Crisis of 1958 while serving in the U.S. Navy. BENNIE we bid you a sad farewell. You will be dearly missed from among our ranks. Be at Ease. Rest in Peace.
On behalf of the 1,355 members of Lowe-McFarlane Post 14 of the American Legion, I extend our sympathies and our condolences to BENNIE’s family and loved ones.
