Emily Scroggins

Emily A. Scroggins, 80, passed away Saturday May 31, 2008 after a long illness. She was born in El Paso, Texas October 14, 1927. She was active in the community by volunteering in many organizations during her lifetime i.e. Happy Elderly Blind, Ysleta Lions Club dinners, Texas Society to Prevent Blindness state board and eye screening of public school children and recently volunteering at Del Sol Medical Center besides teaching Sunday & Bible School in her church. She was an endowed member of the Ysleta Order of the Eastern Star. She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years Ralph, children; Steve, Christi and Gary. She was also blessed with nine (9) grandchildren and six (6) great grandchildren. We would like to thank her caregiver Dolores Ramos from Always Caring Health Care Services and the wonderful staff and caregivers of Hospice of El Paso for the personal care and support they gave us. Graveside services will be at Ft Bliss National Cemetery @ 10 A.M. Friday June 13th Bethany Christian Church will be conducting the service.
