Dear Etzel Family - I knew "Mr. Etzel" almost as long as I knew my own Dad. He certainly loved his family, and I'm sure all of you and many other people have wonderful memories of Mr. Etzel. I think I'll eat a few Pillsbury cinnamon rolls in his honor.

Dear Rosemary and family,
I am grateful for the few short years that we have been neighbors with you and fortunate to get to know Dan and your family. What a super-nice man. I already miss our side of the yard chats and his smiles and friendly waves. He will be in our family's hearts forever.

Diane and Family,
I was so very sad to see that your Dad had passed away. I know you must miss him so much. You and I went to St. Matthews together years ago. I am the former Cindy Ridder. I still think of you and many others that shared our classes through the years. I'll be thinking of you through this tough time. Take care friend, Cindy Stone

I was so sorry to hear Dan had passed away. I have fond memories of him back in the 50's when we carpooled to work at the Air Force Depot. He was a very kind and special person. My love and prayers to all of you.

Mr. Etzel...
Although I never had the pleasure of meeting you, I feel like I've known you for decades. Why? Because my dad always told me that you can easily tell what kind of parents one has through the child. He would tell me, if a son or daughter is good and honest, and is an upstanding citizen and member of society, then you can rest assured that the parents are too.
I've had the distinct pleasure of knowing your daughter, Lisa, for almost 20 years, and she and her family are wonderful to know. Lisa is such a lovely person that you must have been pretty special yourself.
May God be with Lisa and her family, as well as her mom and the rest of Dan's friends and relatives. May He bring each of you the peace you so richly deserve.

My deepest sympathy to the Etzel Family. I remember Mr. Etzel when I worked at Highland Park/UMB Bank and would always enjoy his visits to the bank. I would save the monthly NADA books for him to check values on vehicles and he would keep me posted on his children since I had worked with 4 of the 5 at the bank. May you heartache soon be replaced with special memories. Please know you and Mr. Etzel are in my thoughts and prayers.
