Jacky L. Smart, 55, of Henryetta, died Thursday, Aug. 14, 2008, at Henryetta.Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Church of Christ, Henryetta, with Bill Green officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Shurden Funeral Home of Henryetta.The family will greet friends from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.Born Nov. 6, 1952, in Detroit, Mich., to Juanita (Scroggins) and Ned E. Smart, he married Ella Jo (Prince) Smart in Center Ridge, Ark., on June 8, 1973. He received his Masters of Sacred Literature and was a minister with the Church of Christ, ministering for six years in Henryetta, one year in Carthage, Texas, three years in Dixon, Mo., 19 years in McAlester, one and one-half years in Lake Providence, La., and three years in Alpin, Ark. He was a member of the Henryetta Church of Christ and the Lion’s Club. He was preceded in death by his father, Ned E. Smart.Survivors include his wife, Ella Jo Smart, of the home; one son, Jody Smart, of the home; one daughter, Lora Smart and husband, Robert Rexham, of Tulsa; mother, Juanita Smart, of Memphis, Tenn.; six siblings, Bob Smart, Russellville, Ark., Edy Wenner, Memphis, Tenn., Gwen, Seneca, Mo., Mary, Russellville, Ark., Richard Smart, Russellville, Ark., Phillip Smart, Cleveland, Ark., Amy Smart, Memphis, Tenn., as well as numerous nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives.Pallbearers include Billy Green, Clyde Estes, Jeff McFerrin, jay LaValley, Brent Jenson and Earl Freeman. Honorary pallbearers include Jim Renner, Hal Ishmael, Richard Lillard, Randy Mashburn and Tommy Booth.The family requests memories be made to the Jacky Smart Memorial Fund, c/o The Church of Christ, 413 W.
