Grandpa,
I'm so thankful for having you in my life for so long. You always had a smile on your face. I'm glad that you got the chance to see my Caitlyn grow. I wish I would have been there for our family and to say goodbye, but I know you already knew. I love you and I will miss you so very much. Give grandma hugs and kisses for me.

Love,
Me, Travis, Caitlyn, and new little Jason.

Dad, our lives go on and we will remember you in our hearts forever. You raised a wonderful family. Your influence can be seen in each of us, and is reflected through us into your grandchildren. Rest in peace.

To the family:
I echo the thoughts of my sister...I know that we both regret our inability to attend the services for our Uncle DeVon (he may not have liked that name, but that's what Grandma Stout always called him!).
It was so great having seen him in August at dad's house, and thanks especially to Laurie for making sure that happened. A great deal of our sadness is not being able to visit with all of our cousins again, but please know that you have our best wishes and sincere condolences.
The one thing I'll never forget about your family was that great house that you grew up in...your family was truly cool in that you actually had a creek in the back yard! It probably gave your parents fits, but we loved to visit.
I like to think that DeVon and Aunt Mary Kay are together again now, as I remember them.
Best wishes to you all, and know that our sympathy and thoughts are with you now.

Steve and Joan,
So sorry to hear about your dad! Our thoughts and prayers are with you. We know that he is happy to be reunited with your mom. We wish you well in coping with your loss. We hope that you will find comfort in knowing that one day you will all be reunited. Sincerely, Larry & Loretta Wadsworth

To my cousins and thier families,
I'm thinking of you and send you my warm thoughts and sympathy. I was glad to have seen uncle Devon at Dad's party this past summer, as time seems to slip away so quickly from all of us. Your parents raised some pretty incredible kids and I wish you all the best during this difficult time. Love to you all,

Dad - I know you are finally at peace. Thank you for the wonderful memories: taking me to see and hear Dave Brubeck at the Terrace, laughing so hard we had to pull off the interstate over your TeePee joke, helping me identify my first "strange" bird, an American Avocet and attending our performances from classical to jazz. I have fond memories of watching football with you to just sitting quietly and sharing our thoughts of Mom. You would always respond "I love you the mostest" to my "I love you Dad", but now it's my turn: I love you the Mostest!
