Jo H. Brabant

Jo H. Brabant Was born in 1931 in western Kentucky. An avid Kentucky Wildcats fan, she graduated from the University of Kentucky in1954 with a degree in Business Administration. Shortly thereafter, she married John M. Brabant, and they moved to Berkeley, California so John could pursue his graduate studies. Jo moved to southern California upon John's graduation from Berkeley, and they both pursued active careers in aerospace industries. Growing tired of working for someone else, Jo and her husband moved back to northern California, where Jo was instrumental in the creation and daily operations of two small businesses. Both Optronics, Inc., and Isher, Inc. were in good hands with Jo at the helm! Upon John's death in 1989, she supported the president of Sentir, Inc. for several years until her retirement, when she moved to Virginia to be near her two sons, Michael and Mark, and her grandchildren, Ally, Paige, Kelly, and Dylan. She is survived by her two sons, Michael John and Mark Harris, and her five grandchildren. Funeral service at 2:00 pm Friday, December 12, 2008 at ALAMEDA FAMILY FUNERAL HOME 12341 Saratoga-Sunnyvale Rd. Saratoga, CA.
