Louise K. Williams PINEHURST, N.C.

Mrs. Louise K. Williams, formerly of Waynesboro, Virginia, passed away Thursday, July 16, 2009, at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Cheryl and Tom Melhorn.

She was born December 22, 1923, in Clifton Forge, daughter of the late Ida Jane Kiblinger and Ernest Lee Kiblinger Sr.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Alonzo Norris Williams in 1969; two brothers, Ernest Lee Kiblinger Jr., William Lloyd Kiblinger; a sister, Marybelle Kiblinger Miller; and a great-grandson, Justin Lane Elliott.

She was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church. She was employed by National Bank of Commerce and the Kanawha Valley Bank and a personal shopper for the Diamond Department Store in Charleston, West Virginia.

She is survived by a daughter, Cheryl Melhorn and her husband, Tom, of Pinehurst, North Carolina; two sons, Brian Taylor and his wife, Anita, of South Charleston, West Virginia, and Timothy Norris and his wife, Anita, of Roanoke, Virginia; two granddaughters, Lisa Elliott and Georgia Williams; and two grandsons, Joey Smith and Eric Williams. She is also survived by one nephew, Richard Deadrick; three nieces, Rebecca Leach, Patricia Kiblinger and Tammy Eye; and a sister-in-law, Elizabeth Brooks.

A service will be conducted 10:30 a.m. Monday, July 20, 2009, at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church with Pastor Todd Brown officiating. Burial will follow at Augusta Memorial Park.

Active pallbearers will be Eric Williams and Joey Smith; and grandsons, Harvey Eye, Bill Leach, Richard Deadrick, Don Morris, Hunter "Buck" Earhart, Dan Hamilton, Terry Sumey and Scott Lasan.

There will be no formal visitation at the funeral home, as the family will receive friends following the service at the home of her niece, Becky Leach, 272 Cambridge Drive, Stuarts Draft, Virginia.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Ladd Road, Waynesboro, VA 22980.
