News Death Notice
SKILES, Ruth (Grimm) Age 85 of Springfield, passed away Saturday, July 18, 2009 at her residence. She was born March 5, 1924 in Xenia, the daughter of the late John & Mabel (Webb) McClanahan. Preceded in death by her husband Clester, her son William Lee Grimm, 3 brothers Ralph, Bob, and Russell, 2 sisters Delores and Dorothy Jean, and 2 grandsons Brandon and Bobby. Ruth is survived by 3 daughters Beverly Panter of St. Paris, Marilyn Daniels and husband Billy of Terre Haute, OH, Sharon Kirkpatrick and husband John of Springfield, her brother John McClanahan and wife Marion of Clark Co., her sister Marcella Salyers of Donnellsville, 8 grandchildren, and several great and great great grandchildren as well as numerous other family members and friends. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 23, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. from the Jones Kenney Zechman Funeral Home, Springfield. Pastor Paul Price officiating. Entombment Rose Hill Burial Park Mausoleum. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
