Hello,
We would like to express our deepest condolences and also let the Ivory Family know that we recently sent a small donation to Landstuhl Fisher House in honor of
Craig S. Ivory US Army Specialist. We recognize that this is a humble tribute, but we wanted you to know that it is heartfelt and made possible by thousands of like-minded individuals in the youth hockey community and beyond. We will not forget. May God Bless you and keep you strong.
Sincerely,

Prayer Shawls 4 Fallen Soldiers ([email protected]) is an organization with groups throughout the country who strive to send handmade prayer shawls and/ or lap robes to families who have lost a loved one in service to our country. Members of Trindle Spring Lutheran Church in Mechanicsburg, PA would like to honor your son's sacrifice and memory by sending our prayers and comfort through a shawl which we will mail to you. If you are interested, please contact me at [email protected] with the names and addresses and what they would like to receive. We will send them as soon as possible. Also, if you know of any other families who are grieving the loss of a loved one who died serving our country, please pass along my e-mail address, as our organization can no longer get family contacts through the military. May God bless you and comfort you in the days ahead. Sincerely, Lynne

Father we entrust our brother Craig to your mercy. You loved him greatly in this life: now that he is freed from all its cares, give him happiness and peace forever. Welcome him now into paradise where there will be no more sorrow, no more weeping or pain, but only peace and joy with Jesus your Son, and the Holy Spirit forever and ever.

My prayers goes out to the family of a fallen Hero
August 5, 2007
I don't pretend to know what to say or do that would bring you peace in your time of sorrow, but I will offer my heart felt condolences. I also offer you my prayers that in time the pain will easy and the memories of your HERO will carry you through each day and night. I want to thank your HERO, for his/her selfless act of becoming a member of the armed forces, his/her willingness to defend the United States of America, all that we hold sacred and for the sacrifice that will forever be etched in the memories of all those who knew him/her. Though tears can never bring him/her back, we hope that our tears express our gratitude for the sacrifice that he/she made and our sorrow at his/her passing. I believe for every fallen HERO there is a star shining brightly up above to remind us of the precious gift we were given.
Your mission on earth is complete and you are now a member of GOD’s Heavenly armed forces. Stand down brave warrior and take your rightful place in Heaven with all the HEROES who have passed before.
I made a special promise to LE RON A. WILSON (KIA on 07/06/07) on the day he was laid to rest as I touched his coffin, that I would never forget him nor would I forget those that gave their lives for our country before him, with him and after him and so when I came across www.legacy.com, I thought what a great way to keep my promise to Le Ron, so I will continue to leave tributes in each guest book until the day there is no longer the need to leave these tributes to a FALLEN HERO.
REST IN PEACE, HERO, YOU WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN!!

Graig was a fire ball he was the first in a fight, and firstthere to rendered aid immediately. He became a son to me and a welcomed member of our household. He love to ride and to dance. He was proud when he made jump school and write often of his dreams and hopes. He wanted to serve his country and to do his father and family proud. He claimed he was a Texan, we teased him that he got here as fast as he could!!!I miss his lopsided grin and his sense of fun. His eyes would dance when he was up to mischief. Not a day passes when he is not thought of, missed and loved!! You touched more people than you knew Doc. There rideres all mourn your passing. You were always right there for them when the bull threw one of them and you took your share of spills..Your hat is still here. One day I will have the strength to take it out of it's box, dust it off and send it to your folks.
Your last words to me were "don't worry Mom the mission was cancelled" It was not cancelled you did go out that day, made it back to your tent, few hours later they found you and air vaced you out. I am gratefull that you did call and that I was given the chance to say "we love you we miss you Doc!"

To the Ivory's,
It best for me to remeber "Doc" as a sawed-off country . well anyone that new him from stamped or myself, his roommate from 2000-2002 before he took off to Italy. He was a good man little cockie little bold but thats what made him Doc, I am sorry to bring back old memories but after finally settling down after these past few years I finally got a chance to think about the more important thinks in life. I am deeply sorry for your lose and give you my condoliences.

To the Ivory Family-

Dear Mary Kay,
It was with shock and great sadness that I read of Craig's untimely death in Iraq. I have been praying daily for him and all of our troops since the day I met you on June 25, 2003. We were roommates for a few hours in Princeton Hospital while I recovered from anesthesia after some surgery and you were being treated for your lungs.
While I drifted in and out of sleep, you and my husband, Dan, spoke of children, careers, and life. You were so kind to me and especially comforting with your medical knowledge and gentle manner.
Craig was an exceptional young man judging from his many accomplishments in both his civilian and military life. His courage, sense of duty, love of country, and compassion for others are traits that he undoubtedly acquired from you.
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
Sincerely,
Pat Zinsser

To the family for Craig,
I did not know Craig. I just read the notice of his death.
What a great young man he was. Just to read all his accomplishments was very impressive. You all must be so proud of him.
I have no sons but do have 9 grandsons. I also have a daughter in the nurse corps in the US Navy reserves, she is a Captain.
I want you to know that we are gratefull for Craig's service and duty to his country. Where would this country be if it weren't for men like Craig.
My deepest sympathy to all his family.May God be with you during this very sad time.
God bless you. Sincerely, Pat
