Harold Holida Obituary
Mr. Holida passed away Saturday, Oct. 31, 2009, in Cleburne. He was born May 4, 1933, in Naples, S.D., to Matt and Frances Wopat Holida. He married Mary Guse on March 20, 1955, in Naples, S.D.
Mr. Holida was a self-employed gasoline service station owner for more than 30 years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in Vietnam. He attended the Open Hearts Ministries Church in Cleburne.
Doc Holida is survived by his wife, Mary Holida of Cleburne; two daughters, Darla Russell of Ennis and Dawn Morris and husband, David, of Montana; brother, Gayle Holida and wife, Beverly, of Madison, S.D.; and seven grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one son, Dallas Holida in 1993; three brothers, Walter, Archie and Lester Holida; and a sister, Elaine Alwin.
